Description
One of the reasons I love turquoise is due to the variations you can find within a single mine. For example, more or less copper in the vein completely changes the turquoise’s look. The Burro Mountain Pendant features turquoise from the Tyrone Copper mine located in the Burrow Mountains near Silver City, New Mexico. The rusty-brown matrix in the stone is like looking at a landscape painting. I chose to give this stone a simple, clean setting with a soft, brushed finish allowing the texture of the matrix to be the hero. Delicate brass & bronze accents lead your eye up to the hand-beaded chain, peppered with tiny Kingman turquoise and brass beads. Backplate is stamped with my signature daisy stamp.
